Our Authentication Process

Every watch that enters the Visage et Mains collection is inspected before it is ever listed. No exceptions, no consignment shortcuts.

What we verify

Movement. The caliber is opened, inspected, and run on a timegrapher. Rate, amplitude, and beat error must sit within the manufacturer's tolerances for the reference.

Case and bracelet. Serial and reference engravings are checked against the manufacturer's records for the production year. Cases are examined for over-polishing, replaced components, and aftermarket parts.

Dial and hands. Originality is confirmed under magnification — redials, relumes, and service replacements are identified and disclosed on the listing, every time.

Provenance. Box, papers, and service history are verified where present, and stated plainly where absent. What you see on the spec sheet is what arrives.

What that means for you

Every listing carries its full condition grade, its verified reference number, and its box-and-papers status. If a watch does not pass inspection, it is not sold here.
