Our Condition Scale

Every watch we list carries one of six published grades. The grade describes cosmetics only — mechanical health is verified separately on the timegrapher, for every watch, before it is listed.

  • New

    New

Delivered as new from an authorized dealer. Factory condition, no wear under magnification, protective stickers where applicable.

  • Unworn

    Unworn

Never worn beyond try-on. Indistinguishable from new; may predate current warranty terms.

  • Excellent

    Excellent

Light signs of careful wear visible only under close inspection. No dents, deep scratches, or polishing that alters case geometry.

  • Very Good

    Very Good

Honest wear consistent with regular use — light hairlines, desk marks — nothing a service polish would not lift. Fully mechanically sound.

  • Good

    Good

Visible wear: scratches or small dings, possibly a service polish in its past. Inspected, serviced where needed, priced accordingly.

  • Fair

    Fair

Heavy cosmetic wear or an older service history. Sold as a wearable project or collector piece; every flaw photographed and disclosed.

Every grade, from New to Fair, is verified on the timegrapher before listing — condition describes cosmetics, never mechanical health.
